R & S Lawn Service was started in 2001 after Rick Smith and Scott Hulen combined their individual lawn services. Rick and Scott have been residents of the Northland for their entire lives. They lived down the street from each other growing up and went to Winnetonka High School together becoming life long friends.
Rick Smith took some college at Maple Woods Community College after graduating high school. He then went into the Army Reserves for 8 years. During that time he got married and has 3 children. He is still a resident of the Northland.
Scott Hulen went to Longview and Park Colleges graduating with a degree in Business Management. Scott also went into the Army Reserves for 6 years. Scott is married and has 3 children. He is also a resident of the Northland.
